🛍 What Are Even Exchanges?
Even Exchanges treat all variants of a single product as interchangeable at the same value, regardless of price differences. This means:
- If a customer is exchanging one variant of a product for another (e.g., changing size or color), the system will treat both as equal in price.
- It doesn’t matter if:
- The returned item was purchased at a discount.
- The desired variant has a different price on the site.
Essentially, Even Exchanges ask:
"Is this new item a variant of the product being returned?"
If yes, Route Returns handles the exchange at no additional cost or refund as if it’s an equal swap.
✅ What Qualifies as a Variant?
Even Exchanges only apply to variants of the same product. For example:
- A blue T-shirt exchanged for a red T-shirt of the same style.
- Swapping sizes of the same sneaker model.
