How to Export a CSV on Route Returns

Need to pull your return data for a closer look? Exporting a CSV from Route Returns is quick and easy. Just follow these simple steps to get the information you need.

Step 1: Go to the Returns Dashboard

  1. Log in to your Route account.
  2. From the main menu, select Export.
  3. You’ll land on the Returns Dashboard, where you can see your recent and past return activity.

Step 2: Export the CSV

  1. Find the Export button at the top right of the dashboard.
  2. Click Export.
  3. Choose between a Return Report and a Refund Report.
  4. Pick CSV as the format (if you see other options).
  5. Click Export CSV

Step 4: Download the CSV File

  1. You'll receive a notification that your Export is being prepared. This can take several minutes, depending on the size of the export. 
  2. Go to the Exports tab and click the Download button on your recent export.

Helpful Tips:

  • Apply the right date range to avoid downloading more data than you need.
  • Large datasets may take a bit longer—just hang tight.
  • Use tools like Excel or Google Sheets to open and analyze your file.

Troubleshooting

If things don’t go as planned:

  • Double-check your internet connection.
  • Make sure your browser allows pop-ups and downloads.
